Jay Clark was hired in July of 2015 to join Augustana’s athletic training staff. A 2011 graduate of Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Clark will be working with the Viking men’s and women’s cross country, track & field, men's water polo and tennis programs.
In July 2023, Clark was promoted to Associate Athletic Trainer.
Clark owns a master’s degree in sports medicine and athletic training from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Prior to coming to Augustana, he worked as a Physician Extender and Outreach Athletic Trainer at Midwest Orthopaedic Institute in Sycamore, Illinois and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer and Adjunct Instructor at Ferrum College in Ferrum, Virginia.
