The Augustana men's soccer team finished the season 5-13-1
under first-year head coach Mick Regan.

The 2015 men's soccer season at Augustana finished with a 5-13-1 overall record in head coach Mick Regan's first year with the Vikings.  Junior forward Michael Brazinski (Plainfield East HS, Plainfield, Ill.) earned second team all-conference honors in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin. The Vikings finished 2-5 and in seventh place in the CCIW.

Augustana opened up the season with a thrilling double-overtime 2-1 victory over Aurora University at Thorson-Lucken Field.  Freshman Shonari Phillips (Tindley HS, Indianapolis, Ind.), in his first ever collegiate game, scored the game winning goal with an assist from Brazinski, who also had a goal in the game.  The Vikings continued with success in the early going, with a 3-3-1 record through the first seven games.

After dropping the next six games, Augustana remained motivated and beat conference rival, Elmhurst College, 1-0 at home on October 10th.  Outshooting their opponents 15-3 the Vikings grasped their first conference victory of the season in dominant fashion.  Phillips scored his fourth goal of the season with a rare double-assist from Dominick Sullivan (Plainfield East, Bolingbrook, Ill.) and Adam Buric (Notre Dame Preparatory, Scottsdale, Ariz.)

The Vikings fell into a four-game slide but were able to finish their season on a high note with a win on senior day.  Regan's team beat Millikin 4-3 in a shootout where seniors Erik Gustafon (Cary-Grove HS, Cary, Ill.), Jonathan Colucci (Glenbard North HS, Carol Stream, Ill.) and Adam Witucki (Libertyville HS, Libertyville, Ill.) all stood out.  Gustafson headed home his first collegiate goal in his 63rd and final career game at Augustana off of a corner kick from freshman Samuel Kratzer (Libertyville HS, Libertyville, Ill.) with 10.1 seconds remaining in the half.  Colucci had the game winning goal in addition to an assist, while Witucki also tallied an assist.
